Three Adult Small Groups
When God’s People Pray: Led by Anna Mezera
Throughout history one of the distinguishing marks of the people of God has been prayer. Come learn about prayer and the promises God has given to those who call on His name. We will be following the study “When God’s People Pray”. With the study we will also have the opportunity to put it into practice what we learn and see what God will do in our lives, the church and our community as we call on Him together. This class will meet in the Young Adult Sunday School classroom.
Becoming Spiritually Mature: Led by Carson & Rebecca Pearce
This group will cover the New Testament books of 1st & 2nd Peter, which teach the reader how to grow in our relationship with Christ, and how this leads to spiritual maturity. This class will meet in the classroom directly across the hall from Pastor Rick’s office.
A Study on Psalm 119: Led by Carol Thompson
Even the most mature believers face dark nights of the soul. During those times God might seem distant, His Word might feel dry, and the vibrant intimacy we knew before seem absent leaving us wonder, “Where is the Lord in this?” In Psalm 119, Matt Chandler’s aims to introduce viewers to the words of King David who experienced similar seasons of life. Psalm 119 demonstrates the power of God’s Word in the lives of believers and its ability to provide a warm blanket for the soul. This class will meet at the home of Darla Davis.
Childcare is provided for all ages.
